New short film shines a light on black history
While touring American universities, an African-Italian artist screened her award-winning short film "Il Moro" at UCF on Nov. 14, shining a light on Black history.
Daphne Di Cinto is a screenwriter, director, actress and producer. While playing the Duchess of Hastings in the Netflix series “Bridgerton,” Di Cinto started working on her own film, “Il Moro,” which tells the story about Alessandro de' Medici, the first and only black Duke of Florence.
